Automatic L-Bar Sealers and Shrink Wrap Machines
An automatic L-bar sealer wraps a product in centerfolded shrink film, then seals and cuts the film on two sides with one L-shaped seal bar. The loose bag then goes through a heat shrink tunnel, which shrinks the film tight around the product. Put together, the sealer and tunnel make a complete shrink wrap machine line that gives you a clean, consistent, retail-ready package.
An auto L-bar suits small and mid-size packaging lines that need consistent, hands-off polyolefin shrink wrapping. It can be a good fit if you:
wrap the same products over and over and want every package to look the same
have outgrown sealing packages by hand, one at a time
run printed shrink film and need the print to land in the same spot on every package
Automatic vs. Semi-Automatic L-Bar Sealers
On a semi-automatic L-bar sealer, the operator places each product in the film and brings down the seal bar for every package. An automatic L-bar sealer moves the product through the machine on conveyors and makes the seal on its own. The operator mainly loads product and changes film rolls. In general, a semi-automatic sealer costs less to get started, and an automatic sealer gives you steadier speed and less hands-on labor for each package.
Seals packages up to a 20" x 17" seal area at up to 25-30 pieces per minute. It comes standard with a closing conveyor, print registration, an easy-to-operate HMI touchscreen, an opaque film sensor, automatic scrap take-up, and variable frequency drives on the infeed, outfeed and scrap take-up.
A 40" x 16" chamber with a viewing window and interior lighting, independent temperature and speed controls, and an auto shutdown that cuts power to the tunnel at 150°F.
An optional but recommended 1 meter x 380mm variable speed conveyor. It spaces products before they reach the sealer and plugs into the TJ-2118L for power.

What shrink film does it use?
Polyolefin shrink film, 30-200 gauge, from 8" min. to 22" max. film width.

220V / 1 phase / 10 amp power and 80 psi compressed air.

What is your return policy?
All returns need our written authorization first. Standard products in new, resalable condition, in their original packaging, may be returned within 60 days of the invoice date. Special-order items may be subject to a restocking charge, and custom products made to your specifications can't be returned unless they have a defect in material or workmanship.
